Coffee Cultural Landscape · UNESCO World Heritage

The Coffee Region in 60 seconds

What is it?
Colombia's Coffee Cultural Landscape: green mountains in Quindío, Risaralda, Caldas and Valle del Cauca where coffee has shaped the villages, the food and the architecture. UNESCO listed it as a World Heritage Site in 2011.
How many days do you need?
Three days cover a country-hotel stay and Parque del Café. Four days add the Cocora Valley and Salento, or a deeper trip through coffee haciendas, Filandia and the Cordillera villages.
When should you go?
You can travel all year. The driest months are December to February and June to August; March to May and October to November are rainier but greener.
How do you get there?
Fly into Armenia, Pereira or Manizales (usually connecting through Bogotá or Medellín). Our packages include Armenia airport transfers. Flights are not included.

Frequently asked questions

How much do Coffee Region tours cost?

Hotel packages start at COP 810,000 per person for 3 days and 2 nights, and experiences start at COP 345,000 per person for two travelers. Prices change with the hotel, the season and the size of your group; every package page has a full price table.

How many days do I need in the Coffee Region?

Three days is the minimum to enjoy it without rushing. Four days let you add the Cocora Valley and Salento, or a coffee hacienda stay with Filandia and the Cordillera villages.

What is the best time to visit?

Any month works. December to February and June to August are the driest and most popular; March to May and October to November have more rain and fewer visitors. Hotels charge higher rates in high season.

Are flights included?

No. We sell the Coffee Region without flights. You arrive in Armenia, Pereira or Manizales and we arrange the ground side. Packages include Armenia airport or terminal transfers; Pereira airport transfers add COP 80,000 per person each way.

What do the hotel packages include?

Hotel nights with breakfast (and dinner in some plans), the listed tours or park passes, guides and transport for them, Armenia transfers and a medical assistance card. Flights, unlisted meals, National Parks taxes and tips are not included.

How does the early-booking discount work?

Book until December 31, 2026 and save 5% if your trip starts at least 60 days later, or 10% if it starts at least 90 days later. It applies to hotel packages.

Can I book just one tour without a package?

Yes. Every experience can be booked on its own, with hotel pick-up in the main service area. Prices fall as the group grows.

Which languages do your guides speak?

Spanish is the base language. English, French, Italian, German and Portuguese guides are available as a supplement; English adds COP 260,000 per group up to 4 hours. We also offer guiding for blind travelers.

Who operates these trips?

Holidays in Colombia, a registered tour operator based in Cartagena with Registro Nacional de Turismo RNT 74577. We handle the whole trip ourselves.
