In short: A private full-day farm experience from Medellín built around three things: native bees and honey, farm-made wines (including jabuticaba) and origin coffee from bean to cup. Lunch is a traditional country platter.

About this tour

This route is about slowing down and learning how a working farm lives. You see the conservation of nature, the importance of bees and the way origin coffee is grown, then taste what the land produces.

The farm offers three experiences. Bean to cup: the full coffee process, ending with a tasting. Wine: a tasting of the wines the farm makes itself, including those from the jabuticaba crop. Bees: native bees, their care and their honey. Lunch is a traditional country platter, with drinks made from the farm’s herbs and recipes handed down through generations.

Pairs well with Guarne Day Tour from Medellín: Fique Museum, Tapetusa & Cacao and El Jardín Day Trip from Medellín: Coffee, Waterfalls & Heritage Town. Planning more days around Medellín? Read the Medellín & Antioquia travel guide and our list of the best day trips from Medellín.
