About this package

The forest reveals its secrets when we know how to listen. This adventure through the triple border begins in Leticia, exploring the Parrot Park and the local market with Amazonian fruits and artisanal fishing.

Then you sail the Amazon River to Mocagua to meet the Tikuna community and discover Puerto Nariño, a model of sustainability surrounded by the Tarapoto Lakes, a Ramsar wetland where pink dolphins live.

You support conservation foundations, explore the forest on foot and by canoe, and enjoy the flavors of the chagra and the river. For rest, you choose among Hotel Waira Suites, Hotel Amazon Bed & Breakfast, BioHotel Arará, La Ceiba or Calanoa.

Which lodge should I choose?

Waira Suites and Amazon B&B are in Leticia (Waira Suites has pool and air conditioning). BioHotel Arará is 35 minutes by river. La Ceiba and Calanoa are on the river near Mocagua and are the most immersive. Tell us your style and we will recommend one.

Are flights included?

No. Flights Bogotá – Leticia – Bogotá and the Leticia entry tax (COP 50,000 per person, paid in cash at the airport) are not included. For the smoothest schedule, take a morning flight into Leticia and, if your last night is in Puerto Nariño or Mocagua, a return flight after 11:40 a.m.
