About this package

Start in Leticia, the gateway to the rainforest, and sail the majestic Amazon River to Puerto Nariño and Isla Cacao. Explore indigenous malocas, where Tikuna communities share their worldview and ancestral traditions in harmony with nature.

Dive into Amazonian flavors, from exotic fruits to traditional dishes. In Puerto Nariño, a model of sustainability, visit the Tarapoto Lakes, a Ramsar wetland, and support conservation and reforestation initiatives.

Questions

What is Burú Lodge like?

Burú Treehouses combines nature, culture and comfort: three treehouses for six guests in total, a restaurant and the Yoi maloca, where a cultural exchange with an elder takes place. There is no pool or hot water, so plan for a rustic jungle stay.

Are flights included?

No. Flights Bogotá – Leticia – Bogotá and the Leticia entry tax (COP 50,000 per person, paid in cash at the airport) are not included. For the smoothest schedule, take a morning flight into Leticia and, if your last night is in Puerto Nariño or Mocagua, a return flight after 11:40 a.m.

Can children join this plan?

Yes. Children aged 3 to 10 pay 80% of the adult rate (based on 2 adults). From age 11 the adult rate applies. Ask us for a family quote.

How do I pay and when?

We send a quote and a secure Bold payment link. In low season the full payment is due 1 month before the trip; in high season, 2 months before. Bookings made within 72 hours of departure must be paid immediately to be confirmed.
